Vo Thi Kieu Trinh was born in 2018 in Lam Dong Province. She lives with her parents and two brothers in a low income family where all the children are still in school.
Trinh has nephrotic syndrome, a serious kidney related condition that requires long term treatment and regular hospital follow up. Since she was diagnosed in early 2026, the family has already spent nearly 3,300 EUR on treatment costs, even with health insurance coverage. Every two to three months, she must return to the hospital, with each visit costing around 67 to 133 EUR. Doctors have advised that treatment must continue for at least three years, as stopping midway could lead to kidney failure and dialysis.
The family’s situation is very difficult. Trinh’s mother has heart disease and a neurological condition, often feeling dizzy and faint, and must take medicine regularly. Her father is the main earner, working seasonal labor with an income of about 117 EUR per month, which is not enough to cover daily expenses, school costs, and Trinh’s medical needs.
Despite her illness, Trinh is a bright and hardworking child. She was an excellent student last school year and always hopes to recover so she can return to school, meet her friends, and study like other children. Her simple wish is to be healthy again.
Support of about 30 EUR per month would help the family cover part of Trinh’s medical treatment, nutrition, and school expenses, while also reducing the pressure on a family already carrying a heavy burden. This support would give Trinh more strength to continue treatment and keep her dream of going to school alive.
