Ms. Bui Thi Nho

Ms. Nho’s household consists of four members: the couple and their two children. The elder son is currently in Grade 10, and the younger daughter is in Grade 4. The family is in a difficult economic situation, with very limited agricultural land, owning only 1 cong of rice field, which provides minimal income.

The main source of income comes from the husband’s work as a construction helper. However, this work is irregular and unstable. Ms. Nho stays at home to take care of the family and earns additional income by peeling cashew nuts on a piece-rate basis, but this income is low and inconsistent.

The household’s average monthly income is approximately EUR 26 per person
(equivalent to VND 783,000 per person per month), which is insufficient to cover basic living and education expenses for the children.

The family wishes to borrow VND 4,000,000 (approximately EUR 133) to invest in raising chickens, with the aim of generating additional income and gradually improving their household livelihood.
