Le Vo Hoang Nam

Le Vo Hoang Nam is a Grade 12 student at Tanh Linh High School. He is the eldest of four school aged children and has grown up in very difficult circumstances. Despite this, Nam is determined to continue his education and dreams of attending university to become a foreign language teacher.

Nam’s family of six has no farmland and does not own a house or residential land. They currently live in an old vacant house that they have been allowed to use. His father is the main breadwinner, taking casual labor jobs for around 12 EUR per working day, but work is not always available. His mother suffers from epilepsy and has weak health, so she can only do light work. Her medication alone costs around 25–30 EUR each month. The family’s total monthly income is only about 165–200 EUR, which must cover food, medical expenses, and the education of four children.

As the eldest son, Nam understands the financial pressure on his parents. Although he lives far from school and sometimes has to stay closer to school to continue his studies, he remains committed to learning. He was a Good Student in the 2024–2025 school year and continued to achieve solid academic results in 2025–2026. While many young people in his community have to start working after high school, Nam hopes to continue to university and eventually use his education to support his parents and younger siblings.

Support of 30 EUR per month would help cover Nam’s school supplies, learning materials, transportation, and other essential education costs. It would reduce the pressure on his parents at a critical stage of his education and give Nam a better chance to complete high school, prepare for university, and continue pursuing his dream of becoming a foreign language teacher.
