Duong Thi Quyen, born into a struggling family of seven, has faced numerous challenges. The family’s five children are attending school at grades 1, 4, 7, 10, and university, respectively. Their income depends on cultivating 800 m2 of grapes, 1,000 m2 of asparagus, and raising 8 goats. Occasionally, Quyen’s father works as a daily laborer. With an income of $26 per person per month, it’s challenging to adequately support the family and the education of all the children. Without any support, Quyen is at risk of dropping out due to the financial burden of schooling.
