Ngoc’s family of 7 is struggling financially to cover the 5 children’s educational cost and disease treatment fee for Ngoc, the third child. She suffers from chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, a condition discovered when she was 18 months old. She often experiences bleeding gums and requires hospital visits for any bleeding.
Though she needs monthly check-ups at Children’s Hospital 2, her family can only afford to take her every 2-3 months, with each visit costing VND 700,000 to 1,400,000 (30-60 euros). Her condition is now chronic, and she requires special medication costing 2 million VND (80 euros) per month to control her platelets. We hope for support from kind-hearted benefactors to help with Ngoc’s treatment.
