Nguyễn Vững Vàng, a resilient 8-year-old boy, who was born deaf. This condition not only prevents him from hearing but also from speaking and communicating like other children her age.

After a thorough medical examination, doctors have recommended a hearing aid for his left ear, which costs approximately 31 million VND (1250 €). For his right ear, a cochlear implant costing up to 500 million VND (20.000 euros) is required.

However, the doctors have assured that even with just the hearing aid for his left ear, he would be able to hear and significantly improve his quality of life.

The family has five members, including Vàng’s two older brothers who are in grades 7 and 9, preparing for the new school year. His mother, Mrs. Dương Thị Thoa, sells snacks with limited income, while his father works as a seasonal fisherman with irregular earnings. The family cannot afford the hearing aid, but with your support, we can help Vàng hear and greatly improve his quality of life.
