Nguyen Thi Quynh Huong’s story is one of perseverance in the face of multiple challenges. Hương lives with her parents and two younger siblings. She has a disability in her left hand due to a childhood accident, making it weak and unable to hold heavy objects.
Huong’s family faces significant health and financial challenges. Her father suffers from recurring intestinal infections, while her mother has severe vestibular disorder and sciatica. Despite her condition, she travels 30 kilometers each day to work at a banana processing factory. The family’s main income comes from raising 300 laying ducks, earning an average of about $34 per person per month.
Despite these difficulties, Huong has consistently achieved excellent academic performance for six consecutive years. She dreams of securing a stable job in the future to support her parents and siblings.
We hope to support Huong with a monthly scholarship of 22€ / month for 12 months.
