Nguyen Thi Cam Ly

Nguyen Thi Cam Ly, a student in class 4B at Vinh Tuong Primary School, faces significant challenges within her family, which once consisted of four members. Ly, her grandmother, and her parents lived in the Vinh Quoi hamlet, located in the Mekong Delta. Their modest home and the absence of cultivable land compelled her parents to work as seasonal laborers to meet the family’s needs.

However, Ly’s family situation took a difficult turn after her parents’ divorce. Now living with her grandmother, Ly relies entirely on her mother to bear the entire household burden. Unfortunately, Ly’s life took a harsh blow with the death of her mother due to a stroke when she was only 7 years old. Today, Ly lives alone with her grandmother.

After school hours, Ly returns home and actively engages in household chores to support her grandmother. From collecting snails to picking vegetables, she does her best to contribute to the family’s limited resources.

Without sponsorship, Ly may have to interrupt her studies. Your financial support could play a crucial role in enabling Ly to continue her education and overcome the challenges she faces, thus paving the way for a more promising future.
