Nguyen Hai Dang is preparing to enter Grade 3. He lives with his parents and two siblings in a family of five, and all three children are currently in school. The family owns no farmland and used to depend entirely on seasonal labor for their income.
Three years ago, Dang’s father fell from a tree and suffered a severe spinal cord injury, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down and unable to work. Since then, the responsibility of supporting the family and keeping three children in school has fallen mainly on Dang’s mother. The family survives with her limited income, support from the grandparents, and a small disability allowance for his father.
Despite these difficulties, Dang is a hardworking student who understands how much his family struggles to support his education. He achieved good academic results in the past school year and is motivated to continue improving.
Support of 30 EUR per month would help cover Dang’s school supplies, uniforms, learning materials, and other essential education costs. It would reduce the financial pressure on his mother and help ensure that Dang can continue going to school alongside his siblings. For Dang, this support would also be a meaningful source of encouragement, giving him greater confidence to keep learning and work toward a better future for himself and his family.
