Dang Huynh Anh Thuat, born in 2014, is a 6th-grade student this school year and the eldest of four children in a low-income family of six. His younger sister, Dang Nu Su Mi, is in 2nd grade, while the two youngest siblings are still too young for school and stay at home with their mother.
The family owns no farmland. Thuat’s father takes on any work he can find, sometimes as a construction helper, but jobs are irregular in their rural area. Sometimes, he must travel far from home to find work. With the mother caring for the younger children and unable to work, the entire family depends on the father’s unstable income.
Their average monthly income is approximately 11€ per person per month.
School expenses are a constant burden. The family often borrows money to keep the children in school, repaying debts gradually.
Despite these hardships, Thuat remains committed to his studies and dreams of a better future. We are seeking monthly support of 11€ / month for 12 months to help ease the financial pressure and allow Thuat to continue his education with hope and dignity.
