Cheng Bunrith is a 15-year-old boy currently studying in Grade 6 at Trapeang Pring Primary School in Svay Rieng province, Cambodia. He is known as a hardworking, respectful, and dedicated student who is strongly committed to his education despite facing many difficulties in daily life.
Every day, Bunrith rides his bicycle to school and always tries his best to attend classes regularly. After school and during his free time, he helps his family with household chores in order to reduce the burden on his parents. He understands the difficult situation of his family and studies with determination because he hopes education will help him build a better future.
Bunrith’s family is living in severe poverty. His parents, Mrs. Ouk Srey Nich (33 years old) and Mr. Cheng Peth (34 years old), migrated to Phnom Penh to work as construction laborers to support the household. His mother earns approximately $6 per day, while his father earns around $9 per day when work is available. However, this income is unstable and insufficient to cover food, healthcare, transportation, and educational expenses for the family.
Due to financial hardship, Bunrith lives in very difficult conditions. The family’s house is small and lacks proper comfort and safety. He does not have a quiet or appropriate place to study or complete his homework, which negatively affects his learning and concentration. In addition, the family struggles to afford school supplies, clothing, and other essential educational materials.
Despite all these challenges, Bunrith remains highly motivated to continue his education. He dreams of completing his studies and finding a stable job in the future so he can support his parents and improve the living conditions of his family.
Without support, there is a serious risk that Bunrith may not be able to continue his education due to ongoing financial difficulties.
Request for Sponsorship
To help Bunrith continue his education in better conditions, the family is requesting a monthly sponsorship of 30 euros per month. This support will help provide:
- School supplies and educational materials
- Food and basic daily needs
- Transportation and bicycle maintenance
- Extra classes and learning support
- Assistance with healthcare and emergency family needs
Your support would give Bunrith the opportunity to remain in school, improve his learning conditions, and move toward a brighter and more stable future.
Your generosity can make a meaningful difference in transforming the life of this young boy.
