Pham Thi Dieu, an 11-year-old girl, and her 15-year-old sister (Pham Thi Thuyen Kim) live with their aunt. Their father died eight years ago. Their mother left home after their father died. Kim is in 10th grade and God is in 6th grade. They are supported by their aunt, but their aunt is very poor. Their neighbor supports Kim with 20 USD every quarter for her studies.
