Nguyen Dinh Long was born into a struggling family of six, facing numerous challenges. The primary sources of family income rely on raising pigs and occasional labor jobs performed by Long’s father. Unfortunately, his mother, Mrs. Tan, is grappling with diabetes, which has led to complications affecting her heart, lungs, and kidneys. She requires daily medication and is unable to undertake heavy work due to her poor health condition. Long’s father has faced his share of health challenges as well. He endured a traffic accident in the past, resulting in a broken leg and shoulder. The economic difficulties have prevented the removal of screws holding the bones together. Nearly a year ago, he fell from scaffolding while engaged in construction work, injuring three spinal vertebrae. The family consists of four children attending school, namely:
- Nguyen Dinh Truong: 2nd-year student majoring in Electronics (College)
- Nguyen Dinh Long: 9th grade
- Nguyen Thi Hai Yen: 3rd grade
- Nguyen Thi Nha Kim: 1st grade
With an income of $26 per person per month, they struggle to maintain a decent standard of living and cover the educational fees for all four children. The family’s precarious situation emphasizes the urgent need for external assistance to ensure the children’s education and alleviate the financial burden on the family.
