A family of three was once united, but tragedy struck when a car accident claimed the life of the mother, leaving the father with a lost leg, rendering him unable to work. Luong Thi Thu Thuy, now an orphan on her mother’s side, resides with her father. Although they lack a home of their own, they find refuge in the grandparents’ residence.
Despite grappling with amputation, the father perseveres, working diligently to sell lottery tickets, which serves as their primary source of income. His mode of transportation is a specially adapted motorcycle for individuals with disabilities. However, this sole income proves to be woefully inadequate to cover the living and educational expenses of his only daughter, Thuy, who is currently in the 3rd grade. A scholarship would be a powerful motivator and a lifeline for Thu Thuy, ensuring her continued access to education.
