Chanthy is one of the poor pupils live in Taneng village, Sangke commune, Romdoul district, Svay Rieng province. She is studying in grade 5 and she is 9 years old. She is a good student with top 5 in the class. Every day, she walked about 3 km with her friend from home to school. Sometime her friends call for bike with, she very happy but it is not often it is occasionally. She goes to school spend time 60 minute from her home to school if she walks. This poor family is poor group II (poor group II is mean that their income less than 30$/person/month). They are farmer working on 0.40ha for paddy rice only one time a year. They are living in small house with the income only 0.50$/person/month and her father is archbishop in pagoda her mother with not good health stay at home. This family has 3 members, they have 1 daughter, her mother name is Lay Vanny, she is 58 years old and her father name is Keo Sorn, he is 89 years old. The parents are old and their health’s are not well so they spend more with treatment.
