Basic computer skills is part of the program in secondary school, but most rural schools do not have... computers! The children learn by taking notes from the blackboard. Viêt Nam Plus provides seconhand, reconditioned computers.

20 schools have been equipped already with more than 200 computers (about 70 euros each). For each school 2 technicians have been trained for basic maintenance.

The children pay about 9 euros per cycle but the poorest have free access. The tuition fees cover all runnng expenses. Every year more than 5000 children are covered by the program
